No. The APEX 5 is designed for Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Android, iOS and compatible TV devices. It is not officially compatible with XBOX or PlayStation consoles, and compatibility through third-party adapters cannot be guaranteed. For native XBOX support, consider the officially licensed FLYDIGI Vader 5S.
Yes. The APEX 5 supports gameplay on Nintendo Switch 2 as well as the original Nintendo Switch. Switch 2 wake-from-sleep is not currently advertised as an official APEX 5 feature, so you may need to wake the console manually before reconnecting the controller.
Yes. On Windows PC, the APEX 5 supports low-latency wireless play through the included NearLink/2.4GHz receiver, Bluetooth and wired USB-C. For the most responsive performance, use the wireless receiver or wired connection; the advertised 1000Hz polling rate does not apply to Bluetooth mode.
The standard Techyin package includes the APEX 5 controller, wireless receiver, USB-C cable and quick-start documentation. The Charging Dock 2 Pro is not included with the controller-only option; choose the APEX 5 and Charging Dock 2 Pro bundle if you want both products.
No. Standard controller functions work without keeping FLYDIGI Space Station open, and several settings can be accessed through the built-in display. Space Station is recommended for firmware updates, advanced button mapping, profiles, trigger settings and display customisation. See the FLYDIGI Space Station setup guide.
ForceAdapt triggers can provide programmable resistance and feedback across different games, but game-specific adaptive effects are not universal. Some titles have dedicated profiles in FLYDIGI Space Station, while other games can use custom modes such as racing, recoil, vibration or trigger lock.
Yes. The APEX 5 uses ForceFlex Hall Effect joysticks with physical tension adjustment for each stick. Lighter resistance can help with faster movement and flick aiming, while firmer resistance can provide steadier tracking and more controlled inputs.
The APEX 5 is compatible with the FLYDIGI Charging Dock 2 Pro. Earlier FLYDIGI charging docks use different charging-contact positions and are not compatible with the APEX 5.
