Switch 2 control with improved comfort and precision
The MOBAPAD M12S is a third-party Joy-Con controller designed specifically for Nintendo Switch 2. It combines Switch 2 protocol support, a dedicated C button, TMR Glide Sticks, mechanical controls and 9-axis motion tracking in a comfortable ergonomic design.
Switch 2 protocol:
Plug-and-play rail connection with system controls designed around Nintendo Switch 2.
Dedicated C button:
Access supported Nintendo Switch 2 GameChat and communication functions directly from the controller.
9-axis motion control:
A built-in 9-axis inertial measurement system delivers responsive and precise motion tracking in supported games.
TMR Glide Sticks:
Enjoy smooth movement, accurate tracking and strong resistance to stick drift.
Mechanical controls:
Mechanical face buttons and microswitch triggers provide crisp, responsive and consistent inputs.
Standard vibration feedback:
Built-in rotary motors deliver vibration feedback during supported gameplay.
Ergonomic split design:
A more secure and comfortable grip makes longer handheld gaming sessions easier on your hands.
Handheld and wireless play:
Attach the controllers directly to Nintendo Switch 2 or detach them for Bluetooth wireless gaming.
Customisable controls:
Configure Turbo, button remapping, macros and programmable rear controls to suit different games and play styles.
Power-saving mode:
Use the rear power-saving switch to manage power draw from the Nintendo Switch 2 console.
Available in White and Black. Both colour versions provide the same features, controls and included accessories.
Please note:
The M12S uses rotary motor vibration rather than HD Rumble and does not support NFC or amiibo scanning.

Yes. The M12S uses the Switch 2 controller protocol and attaches directly to the console for handheld play, then switches to Bluetooth when detached. It supports normal Home-button wake-up and is intended primarily for Nintendo Switch 2 rather than the original Switch or Switch OLED.
The M12S provides the more native Switch 2 experience, with a dedicated C button, nine-axis motion control and powered Sleep Mode charging. The M12 HD instead offers HD Rumble, NFC amiibo support and six-axis motion control. Both share the same ergonomic shell, TMR Glide Sticks and mechanical controls. See the M12 HD vs M12S comparison.
Yes, provided the Switch 2 is connected to external power through USB-C or a powered dock. The M12S can also charge while the console is active or through a compatible powered Charging Grip. Power-Saver Mode must be turned off when you want the console or grip to supply power to the controllers.
No. The M12S uses standard rotary-motor vibration rather than HD Rumble and does not include NFC for amiibo scanning. Vibration intensity can be adjusted or disabled through the Mobapad App if preferred.
The M12S includes a dedicated C button for supported Switch 2 GameChat functions and a nine-axis motion system for gyro-controlled games. It does not include the optical sensors required for Joy-Con 2 mouse controls.
Yes. The M12S uses TMR Glide Sticks with contactless magnetic sensing for smooth, precise movement and strong resistance to wear-related drift. Its face buttons and micro-switch triggers feel crisp and responsive, although they are noticeably clickier than standard Joy-Con 2 controls.
Yes. Turbo, button remapping, macros, lighting and programmable rear controls can be configured through the Mobapad App. The app is required to configure the rear controls and is also used for firmware updates. Find it under Downloads & Manuals.
The standard package includes the left and right M12S controllers, controller storage case, replaceable D-pad and user manual. The Charging Grip is sold separately; Techyin also offers an M12S and Charging Grip bundle. Use the H12 Carrying Case to store the console with the larger M12S controllers attached.
